John C.
Greenlees is the lead civil rights attorney at McDermott & McDermott,
Ltd. He has been representing individuals who have been injured or have
had their Constitutional Rights violated by the actions of police and government
agencies in both the State Circuit Court and the Federal District Court for more
than 23 years.
John
Greenlees has tried hundreds of jury and bench trials and litigated countless
motions and hearings. He has appeared and defended Clients in 20 counties
and 3 Appellate Districts across the State of Illinois, as well as
in Federal District
Court and the Seventh Circuit Court
of Appeals. He has also briefed and argued 7 cases before the Illinois
Supreme Court.
John
Greenlees has served as appointed counsel through the Capital Resource Center and the Capital Litigation
Division and has represented numerous clients charged with capital
murder.
He regularly appears in Cook and Will County
Courthouses in Misdemeanor, DUI, Delinquency and Felony criminal
